We are thrilled to announce today a strategic partnership with In-Q-Tel (IQT), a not-for-profit organization that identifies and accelerates the development and delivery of cutting-edge technologies to enhance and advance national security for the U.S and its allies.
In the wake of the adoption of more robust privacy and data protection regulations, privacy-enhancing technologies have received increased attention. In December 2021, the White House stated, “The United States realizes the importance of privacy-enhancing technologies and their role in facilitating and reinforcing democratic norms,” highlighting the importance of deploying PETs for better governance. Additionally, last month DHS’s Chief Privacy Officer stressed the importance of making privacy less of an afterthought by designing systems with technologies to protect the confidentiality and integrity of information in the first place.
Inpher’s XOR Platform helps organizations safely extract valuable insights on sensitive data distributed across data silos without ever exposing the data or moving it outside its owner’s systems. Companies such as DataCo and CPP Investment Board are already working with Inpher to build privacy-preserving data collaboration ecosystems and leverage previously off-limit data without moving it or relying on a third party. This strategic partnership with IQT will allow faster expansion and adoption within the intelligence community by helping them advance their machine learning and data analytics capabilities through privacy-enhancing technologies.
“We are excited to partner with IQT and provide innovative capabilities to the U.S. and its allies. Our mission is to drive societal benefits with data-driven insights while safeguarding privacy and individual liberties. Enabling our public institutions to serve our community better is foundational for that mission.”, said Jordan Brandt, Chief Executive Officer of Inpher.
The strategic partnership with IQT underlies Inpher’s continued collaboration with trusted industry leaders in data security, privacy, and AI. “IQT actively seeks to support innovators that can deliver great technologies to support the national security mission. We are excited to partner with Inpher, leaders in the privacy-enhancing technologies space. Solutions like Inpher’s are critical for enabling important machine learning and analytics missions in the intelligence community.”, said Grant Whiting, In-Q-Tel.
